Zapier lets you connect over 1000 apps with Webflow’s APIs to automate various Webflow CMS and Ecommerce actions.

Before you get started

If you haven’t already, create a Zapier account. If you’re a Webflow customer affected by the deprecation of Logic and you’re signing up for a new Zapier account, you may be eligible for a special discount from Zapier.

How Zapier works

A connection in Zapier is called a “Zap.” Every Zap begins with a Trigger (an event in an app) and leads to an Action (automation performed in another app).

Example: Trigger — New spreadsheet row is added. Action — Zapier creates a new CMS item in Webflow.

Learn more about how Zapier works.

How to connect your Webflow account to Zapier

To connect your Webflow account to Zapier, follow steps in Zapier’s documentation for connecting app accounts. You can limit Zapier access to specific sites and/or Workspaces.

Zapier uses OAuth for secure connection. If already logged into your Webflow account, you’ll see the authorization screen immediately.

đź“„

Zapier does not have access to account information like passwords.

How to send Webflow form submissions to another app

You can send Webflow form data to Zapier to route form submissions to hundreds of apps (Mailchimp, Salesforce, Google Drive, and more).

How to import Collection content with Zapier

Add content to Webflow CMS from external sources using Zapier (e.g., add blog post to Collection each time a new Google Sheet row is added).

đź“„

Create the CMS Collection (“Blog Posts”) before connecting. Your Google Sheet should match your Collection structure. Date formatting: 2023-07-28T19:41:52.325Z. See API docs for guidance.

Steps:

  1. Go to your Zaps
  2. Click Create
  3. Choose New Zap
  4. Choose Google Sheets as Trigger
  5. Choose New or updated spreadsheet row as Event
  6. Click Continue
  7. Connect Google account to Zapier
  8. Click Continue
  9. Choose Blog Posts spreadsheet
  10. Choose worksheet
  11. Click Continue
  12. Click Test trigger
  13. (Optional) Choose a record or use auto-selected
  14. Click Continue with selected record
  15. Choose Webflow as Action
  16. Choose Create Item from Event dropdown
  17. Click Continue
  18. Choose your Webflow account
  19. Click Continue
  20. Choose your site

  22. Map Collection fields to spreadsheet columns
  23. Set Archived and Draft status
  24. Click Continue
  25. Click Test action
  26. Click Publish
đź“„

This Zap only adds content to the CMS Collection — posts aren’t published automatically. For publishing, use the “Create Live item” action.

⚠️

Cannot map CMS reference and multi-reference fields to Zapier fields. Video links sent to CMS via API will not render immediately — preview loads after you open and re-save the field in Webflow.

How to troubleshoot Zapier issues

If you’re having trouble with a Webflow–Zapier integration, troubleshoot your connection from your Zapier Connections page.

If you’re having other trouble, check Zapier’s troubleshooting guide and the App directory Help tab for solutions.

⚠️

Webflow support cannot provide direct support for Zapier or third-party integration issues. For community help, post on the Webflow Forum.
