Migrate existing WordPress content to a Webflow site.

With CSV import, you can migrate your site’s content from WordPress to a Webflow site. Before you get started, we recommend reading how to import Collection content to review the supported data types and limitations for CSV import.

⚠️
If you want an overview on all the steps you need to take to switch from WordPress to Webflow, check out our step-by-step guide.

Export your WordPress content

By default, WordPress exports your content in XML format. Once you’ve exported your content in an XML format, you can use an XML to CSV converter to convert your content to a CSV file.

Import your CSV into Webflow

If you don’t already have a Webflow site, create a new one. Then, you can import your CSV into your Webflow site:

📄
We recommend you check your Site plan’s Collection item limits to determine how many Collection items you can import.

What's next?

Next, you'll recreate your WordPress site’s design and pages in Webflow. If you don’t want to create your site from scratch, you can use our templates (we also have an article about how to use Webflow templates) or designs from Made in Webflow.

When moving your site over, you may need to set new 301 redirects or import 301 redirects. To import media into your site, check out our Assets panel article.

After your site is complete, you’re ready to publish! Learn more in our Publishing overview article.
