【For Beginners】How to Create a Lit.Link: Make a Cute Profile with Just Your Smartphone in 4 Steps

Step1: Login and Signup

First, access https://lit.link via your browser. There's no need to download an app; it's completely usable through the browser alone. Proceed to login or create an account from the "Login" or "Signup" buttons at the top right of the homepage.

When you press the "Login" button, a popup appears with four login options: LINE, Google, Apple, and email. Choose your preferred method and tap to authenticate with that service, then move to your lit.link editing screen.

Additionally, a popup recommending LINE integration will appear. Using LINE integration allows you to quickly access the editing screen and analytics from the LINE menu, which is convenient for those who want to manage primarily on their smartphones.

Step2: Home, Edit, Preview, Share

After logging in, the first screen displayed is the "Home" screen. Here, you can see a simple analytics overview of the past week's access numbers, notifications, and upcoming cards.

Press "Edit" from the tabs at the top of the screen to switch to the canvas screen where you can edit your profile page. Background images, buttons, and text are displayed as is, allowing you to change the design and link content here.

Press "Preview" to switch to a display mode where you can see how it will actually appear to visitors. The editing frames and buttons disappear, allowing you to check the appearance just like a smartphone viewer, which is useful for final checks before publishing.

Press "Share" to open a popup displaying your lit.link URL and QR code. From here, you can copy the URL or save the QR code image to use on social media profiles, business cards, posters, etc.

Step3: Design Buttons

Design Related Buttons on lit.link Editing Screen

When deciding on a design, it's efficient to first choose a "Template." By selecting a template, the background, buttons, and fonts are unified into a cohesive style, allowing you to make minor adjustments afterward for a stylish page.

Next, use the "Background" button to change the overall page background. Choose from live backgrounds (animated), still images, solid colors, or images you upload yourself to set the page's theme.

The "Font" button allows you to finely adjust text size, alignment, font type, and color. By organizing the text for usernames, headings, and body text, you can create a more readable and professional impression.

The "Style" related buttons let you adjust link button shapes, rounded corners, borders, and fill colors. The idea is to make minor adjustments to match your brand colors and theme without disrupting the basic template design.

Finally, use the "Cover" button to set the "Opening Cover" displayed when the page loads. An animated cover appears the moment visitors open the page, making it suitable for branding live streamers and creators.

Step4: Inline Editing

Editing links and elements on the lit.link canvas

When you tap a link button on the canvas, a settings area appears below the button. Here, you can select the URL type such as "Instagram," "X (formerly Twitter)," "YouTube," or "TikTok," and enter the username or destination URL. This is "Editing SNS Links."

Tapping the icon part of the button opens a popup for selecting SNS icons (see the second and third images). You can choose from various service icons like LINE, Pinterest, note, Facebook, and Threads, which corresponds to "Editing SNS Icons."

For the text or supplementary explanation of the button itself, tap the button directly on the canvas to enter the information. Adding short descriptions like "Visit our online shop" along with the service name makes the link content clearer.

When you scroll to the bottom of the canvas, buttons for "Add Link" and "Add Space" appear. Tapping "Add Link" (see the fourth image) opens a popup where you can choose elements to add, such as buttons, pictures, videos, music, text, shops, or calendars.

Similarly, tapping "Add Space" at the bottom (see the fifth image) displays a popup where you can select the height of the space from "S/M/L." By inserting space blocks between sections, you can adjust to a more readable and spacious layout without overcrowding.
